John Lynch

John Lynch is the current President & CEO at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. John has held this position since April of 2017. Prior to this, they were the CEO of Renaissance Learning from November 2012 to April 2017. From May 2006 to October 2012, Lynch was a member of the Executive Board at Wolters Kluwer. In this role, they were responsible for global shared services, technology, business development, and the transport services business. John was appointed to the Executive Board by the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 20, 2007. Prior to their time at Wolters Kluwer, Lynch served as the CEO of Pearson School Technology from March 2003 to May 2006. From November 1999 to March 2003, they were the CEO of bigchalk.com. Finally, from January 1992 to December 1996, Lynch was the CEO of CCH Legal Information Services.
