Megan Kuhfeld

Megan Kuhfeld currently serves as the Director of Growth Modeling and Analytics at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, starting in January 2024. Prior to this role, Megan was a Research Scientist at NWEA from June 2017 to February 2024, and served as a Senior Statistician at CRESST National Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing from September 2016 to July 2017. Additional experience includes a position as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin from July 2016 to June 2017 and a Graduate Student Researcher at CRESST from September 2011 to June 2016. Early in the career, Megan worked as a Senior Research Assistant at Child Trends from 2009 to 2011. Academically, Megan holds a PhD in Educational Assessment, Testing, and Measurement and an M.S. in Statistics from UCLA, as well as a B.S. in Psychology from Duke University.
