James Rekas

James Rekas is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising advisory, particularly within the Professional Services sector. Since August 2014, James has served as Managing Director and Head of Specialty Consulting & Risk M&A at Houlihan Lokey, after holding the position of Director in the same department. Prior to this role, James was Vice President at Morgan Stanley Investment Banking, focusing on strategic and capital market transactions in the Media and Telecommunications industries. James's career began at Northrop Grumman Corporation as Lead System Architect, where expertise in cyber-security technologies was developed. Academically, James holds an MBA in Finance, Accounting, and Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Villanova University.
