Nicolas Knockaert is the Co-Founder and COO of Houm. Nicolas has a background in real estate development and investments, and has experience in both the private and public sectors.
Nicolas graduated from Columbia University in 2015 with a Master's in Real Estate Development. During their time at Columbia, they were responsible for searching and acquiring properties for construction of supermarket-anchored strip-centers.
After graduation, Nicolas began working at EuroAmerica as a Portfolio Manager for Real Estate Investments. Nicolas managed a portfolio of 300 million dollars, consisting of commercial properties, sale-and-leaseback financing, and JV for retail and residential developments.
In 2011, Nicolas left EuroAmerica to begin working for Grupo Patio as an Acquisition Manager. Nicolas was responsible for searching and acquiring properties for construction of supermarket-anchored strip-centers.
In 2010, Nicolas co-founded Coihue Arquitectura y Construcción, where they served as Jefe Departamento until 2017.
From 2008 to 2009, Nicolas worked as an Entrepreneurial Trainer for Octantis. In this role, they provided training and support to entrepreneurs starting their own businesses.
Nicolas Knockaert has a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, an Industrial Civil Engineer degree from Universidad de Chile, a Certificate in Real Estate Appraisals from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and a Credit Risk Course certification from Universidad de Chile. Nicolas also attended Santiago College for their elementary, middle, and high school education.
Nicolas Knockaert works with Camilo Marroquín - Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer, Marijn Vriens - VP of Engineering, and Roberto Caroca - Chief Product Officer. Their manager is Benjamín Labra, Co-Founder & CEO.
