Justin Hough

Chief Development Officer at Hounder

Justin Hough has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2004 when they founded JustinHough.com, a freelance design firm based in Southern California. In 2005, they began working as a Telecommunications Technician for Aguilar Engineering, Inc., installing and maintaining telecommunication equipment for phone and DSL lines. In 2009, they began working as a Substitute Teacher for the Moreno Valley Unified School District, executing or creating teaching plans as required based upon the class. In 2010, they started working at Esri as a Front-End Web Specialist, building development and testing scripts to ensure a continuous and synchronized build environment for the development team. Justin was later promoted to Front-End Development Team Lead, leading a team of front-end developers to build, maintain, and ensure branding guidelines. In 2017, they became the Business Owner of Huffernickel, a local design shop that specializes in art, stationery, posters, photography, wrapping paper and fabrics. In 2018, they began working as the Chief Development Officer at Hounder, leading and managing all development activities across multiple projects and clients, as well as, establishing development project lifecycles from initial planning to support after launch.

Justin Hough attended the University of California, Riverside from 2007 to 2009 and obtained a degree in Creative Writing. Prior to that, they attended Riverside City College from 2002 to 2005 and studied English. Justin also holds three certifications from Sitecore: Sitecore Certified Marketer (obtained in September 2012), Sitecore CMS Developer Foundations (obtained in June 2012), and Sitecore CMS Website .NET Developer (obtained in June 2012).
