Vanessa Eckels

Vanessa Eckels is an experienced makeup artist and educator with a career spanning nearly two decades in the cosmetics industry. Currently serving as the Director of Global Artistry & Training at Hourglass Cosmetics since May 2012, Vanessa leads national and international trainings and events, achieving sales goals through engaging education and brand storytelling. Previous roles include Global Artistry Trainer, where Vanessa was a key artist for high-profile campaigns, and National Artistry Trainer, contributing to runway shows and editorial shoots. Vanessa also co-founded and managed Hot Mess Vintage from 2011 to 2014, and has held positions at Barneys New York, NARS Cosmetics, Parfums Christian Dior, and Nordstrom. Vanessa holds a Journeyman degree in Make-Up Artistry from Make-up Designory and an Associate's degree in Psychology from Santa Monica College.
