Joel "Jody" Forehand

Joel "Jody" Forehand has extensive work experience in various roles within the construction and real estate industry. Joel "Jody" started their career as an Architectural Intern at SLDC Architects LTD in 1990 and then worked as an Assistant Superintendent at Martin Horn, Inc. in 1991. Joel "Jody" later took on the role of Project Manager at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital from 1992 to 1998, and then at the University of Virginia from 1998 to 1999. Jody then served as a Project Executive at Brinkman Management & Development from 1999 to 2003, and as the Director of Construction Cost Management at CDF Capital from 2003 to 2005. Joel "Jody" then joined Visioneering Studios as the Executive Vice President of Operations, a role they held from 2005 to 2019. Jody has also worked as a Broker & Senior Advisor at Charlotte Commercial Partners, Inc. from 2018 to 2020 and as a Broker in Charge at Level 7 Development, LLC since 2020. In their various roles, Jody has gained expertise in project management, construction, real estate sales and leases, and structured deals. Joel "Jody" is a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina and a licensed Real Estate Salesman in South Carolina. Jody is also a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors.

Joel "Jody" Forehand obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Joel "Jody" then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Averett University from 1996 to 1998, specializing in the field of Business.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Jody has acquired several certifications throughout their career. In 2009, they obtained the LEED AP certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. In 2013, they achieved the National Accredited Exam for Commercial General Building Construction certification from the NASCLA - National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies. The same year, they also acquired the General Qualifying Party - Contractor's License from the South Carolina Contractor's Licensing Board.

Continuing their professional development, Jody obtained the General Qualifying Party - Contractor's License from the Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors in 2014. In 2016, they acquired the North Carolina Real Estate Broker's License from the North Carolina Real Estate Commission, and the DBIA - Design-Build Professional certification from the Design-Build Institute of America.

Recently, in 2018, Jody obtained the South Carolina Real Estate Salesman License from the South Carolina Real Estate Commission, as well as the REALTOR certification from the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of REALTORS®.
