Jared Christiansen

Jared Christiansen is currently a UX Designer at HourWork. Prior to that, they worked as a Web Developer and Graphic Designer at Stone Showcase from April 2018 to October 2019. There, they were responsible for designing and coding the website, creating advertisement graphics, handling company marketing, and creating custom PHP web plugins. Jared also coded custom Wordpress plugins to manage inventory, display products, and handle customer orders.

Before Stone Showcase, Jared was employed as a Public Game Server Provider at Private Hosting Service from January 2014 to December 2016. There, they were responsible for managing a publicly-available game server running Java applications including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic security. Jared also configured the linux server that hosted dozens of users simultaneously and hundreds of thousands of users overall. In addition, they managed a team of five people to further develop applications within the server. The website was successful, generating over $10,000 annually.

From January 2014 to April 2018, Jared was also working as a Freelance Designer.

Jared Christiansen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Jared Christiansen reports to Gergely Borgulya, Product Engineering Director. They work with Nick Cianfaglione - Product Lead, Madeline Chapin - Full Stack Developer & Founding Engineer, and Giovanni Conserva - Algorithms Researcher & Founding Engineer.
