Jerry Darcy

Jerry Darcy has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jerry is currently working as an Adjunct Professor of Game Design at DigiPen Institute of Technology since September 2019. Prior to this role, they served as the Design Director at House of How starting from July 2018.

Jerry's notable experience includes working at Hardsuit Labs as the Lead Level Designer for Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2 from October 2016 to July 2018. During this time, they managed a team of 3 designers, provided leadership and mentoring, and designed and built all levels in the game using Unreal 4.

Before that, Jerry worked at Microsoft as the Lead Designer in Studios Publishing from May 2010 to June 2016. Jerry contributed to various projects such as Sunset Overdrive, Ryse, Gears of War, and an unreleased Kinect Shooter. Notably, they worked on an unannounced Hololens product, conducting research, delivering presentations, and pitching new products.

Jerry also gained valuable experience working at Sony - Zipper Interactive as an AI Systems Designer from August 2007 to April 2010, focusing on creating realistic enemy and ally behaviors. Jerry served as the Lead Designer at Amaze Entertainment from August 2006 to August 2007, specializing in tuning controls for the Wii and pitching new Wii projects.

In addition, Jerry worked at Microsoft Games/FASA as the Single Player Lead Designer for Shadowrun from August 2004 to June 2006, overseeing pre-production and leading training workshops. Jerry was the Lead Level Designer at Stormfront Studios, where they developed levels for Demon Stone and The Two Towers from December 2001 to June 2004. Earlier in their career, Jerry acted as the Lead Designer at Decipher, managing the creative vision and release of products like the Star Wars CCG, and worked as a Designer at Technical Games Services, contributing to the Star Trek and Star Wars CCGs.
