Mari Iversen

Mari Iversen is an experienced UX/UI designer currently working at House of Math since February 2021. Previously, Mari Iversen served as a PhD candidate at the University of Oslo from June 2016 to July 2019, focusing on designing for low-resource contexts and developing a health application for community health workers in Malawi. Mari Iversen also worked as research staff within the Information Infrastructure research team, gaining insights into the roles and challenges faced by community health workers. As a research assistant, responsibilities included metadata configuration for the District Health Information Software. Earlier experience includes a role as a product promotor at Concept Communication from August 2014 to June 2017, where sales techniques and customer interaction skills were developed. Mari Iversen holds a Master’s degree in Design, Use and Interaction and a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics: Design, Use and Interaction from the University of Oslo, along with a Higher Education Entrance Qualification.
