Eric Wu

Animator at House of Moves

Eric Wu has a diverse work experience in the animation industry. Eric started their career as an intern at Titmouse, where they did cleanup for the show Metalocalypse and coloring for the animated short Pinched. Afterward, they worked as a General Artist at PAL Family Wellness from December 2010 to July 2011. In 2013, they took on freelance work as an Animator/Modeler.

Eric then joined Ready At Dawn Studios as a Junior Animator in October 2014, working until December of that year. In 2015, they worked at Digital Frontier FX, Inc. and Mirada Studios as an Animator. Eric then returned to House of Moves, where they worked from November 2015 to February 2017, doing motion capture animation for Resident Evil 7 and creating gameplay combat animation for Injustice 2.

In 2017, Eric joined Ready At Dawn Studios once again, this time focusing on a VR title called Lone Echo, where they did keyframe animation for the main character. Eric also worked at iNK Stories NYC, contributing to motion capture cleaning, animation, and blending for two VR titles called Hero and Fire Escape.

Most recently, Eric has been working at House of Moves since February 2018 as an Animator.

Eric Wu attended California State University, Fullerton from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Entertainment Art with a focus on Animation. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued further education at Ianimate.net, specializing in Feature Animation.
