Geert Kuiper

Geert Kuiper is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sports coaching and management, currently serving as Coördinator at the Center of Excellence Thialf since July 2023. Kuiper has held various significant roles, including Speaker at House of Sports since March 2014, National Coach for DESG Deutsche Eisschnelllauf-Gemeinschaft from April 2021 to April 2023, and Program Manager at the SvenKramerAcademie from October 2020 to October 2021. An accomplished farmer at Mts. Kuiper since 1979, Kuiper also contributed as a columnist for Leeuwarder Courant from January 2014 to July 2016. Educational credentials include various coaching and management certifications from KNSB and NOC*NSF, along with a diploma in Hoger algemeen voortgezet onderwijs from Nassau College.
