Thuan Vu

Thuan Vu is currently a pharmacist at House Rx. Thuan previously worked as a specialty pharmacist at Kroger Specialty Pharmacy from December 2016 to December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a clinical PRN pharmacist at Baylor Scott & White Health from September 2016 to January 2017. Vu also worked as a PRN pharmacist at Dougherty's Pharmacy, Inc. from September 2014 to June 2017. In this role, they were responsible for checking prescriptions for accuracy, third-party resolutions, data entry, and patient counseling. Thuan also provided appropriate dosing for geriatric clients and dispensed medications in blister packaging to assisted-living facilities in the Long-Term Care Department. Additionally, they administered vaccinations including: flu, pneumonia, zostavax, yell0w-fever, hepatitis, HPV, and dTap. Their administrative duties included pharmacist scheduling and ordering medications. Thuan also assisted in finding suitable medication therapies via genetic testing through HarmonyX. Lastly, they educated and helped pharmacy students utilize and transfer the knowledge acquired in school into the community pharmacy setting.

Thuan Vu graduated from the University of New England with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and then went on to get their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Nutrition from the University of Florida. Thuan is certified from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) in Sterile IV and CPR from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association.

Their manager is Denali Cahoon, Chief Pharmacy & Operating Officer. They are on a team with Joe Erickson - Pharmacist, Kayla Adams - Pharmacist, and Lih-Wern Wang - Pharmacist.
