Aleksandr Tenyotkin

Chief of Product and Design at House Studios

Aleksandr is a cross-functional, cross-disciplinary creative leader, technologist, and product strategist — applying design and creative-thinking to business, process, and building world-class teams and launching world-class products. Aleksandr has a background in engineering, design, business, research, consulting, and management, having worked with product agencies, tech startups, fast-growth companies, and global brands across entertainment, medical, retail, video game, customer support, defense, financial, automotive, telecomm, legal, and other industries.

He’s led world-defining brands such as Netflix, Indeed, Toyota, Ebay, Microsoft, AT&T, Raytheon, Barnes & Noble, IMG, EverBank, Thomson Reuters, DaVita, and PG&E through some of their most ambitious product and business initiatives. He’s also led a number of high-profile efforts at Hulu, including product strategy, research, design, and a successful launch of the Hulu VR app. Aleksandr helped mature Hulu’s product and design culture, process, and standards — building a research pipeline, evolving recruiting & hiring, partnering with design agencies such as Huge and IDEO, and operating cross-functionally to launch experiences across a complex ecosystem of platforms and customer needs.

Aleksandr is now focused on the issues and causes related to Health & Well-Being — especially centered around dark design patterns and technology addiction, promoting development of positive human-computer interaction patterns and experiences through strategic and ethical application of design in consumer products.
