Catie Orth

Catie Orth has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Catie is currently serving as the People Operations Lead at Houseful, an RBC Company since February 2023. Prior to this, Catie worked at OJO Labs, starting as a People Operations Specialist in October 2018 and eventually becoming a People Operations Generalist. Catie also briefly served as the Interim Office Operations Manager at OJO Labs. In 2017, Catie worked as a STEM Teacher at Hays CISD and as an Operations Manager at Hello World Tech Studio. Catie also gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin in 2016. Catie's other roles include Camp Lead Educator at Thinkery in 2016, School Programs Intern at Thinkery in 2015, Math and Science Teacher at Del Valle ISD from 2012 to 2015, and Science Teacher/Team Leader at Breakthrough Collaborative in 2011.

Catie Orth, SHRM-CP, holds a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on STEM education from The University of Texas at Austin. Catie also has a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Learning and Development from the same institution. Additionally, they have certifications as a SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), a Teaching Certificate EC - 6 ESL Generalist from the Texas Education Agency, and a Teaching Certificate in Special Education EC - 12 from the Texas Education Agency.
