Daniel Tye has extensive experience in finance and accounting. Daniel started their career in 1997 as a Plant Accountant at Weyerhaeuser Corporation. From 1998 to 2005, they worked at LucasArts, where they held various roles such as Staff Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, Financial Analyst, and Financial Analyst Supervisor.

In 2006, Tye joined Rentrak as the Financial Planning Analysis Manager. Daniel then served as the Director of Corporate Financial Services, where they were responsible for capital budgeting, financial projections, and reporting to the board of directors. Tye also worked as the Finance Director for the AMI Division, overseeing budgeting, sales forecasting, and financial reporting.

With the merger of Rentrak and comScore, Tye became the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Daniel played a key role in integrating the two companies and was responsible for budgeting, sales forecasting, financial analysis, and calculations for the sales incentive plan.

Most recently, Tye joined Househappy in 2019 as the Vice President of Finance.

Daniel Tye's education history begins with their high school diploma, which they obtained from Canby Union High School in 1990. Following that, they attended Pacific Lutheran University from 1990 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from the School of Business. After a break in their education, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Willamette University, which they completed in 2013. In terms of additional certifications, Daniel obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Institute of Management Accountants in January 2001.
