Chief Operating Officer at Household Capital

Luke Rattigan has over 25 years of experience in the business world. Luke started their career in 1994 as an Economist at the Productivity Commission. In 1995, they moved to Tabcorp as a Strategy & Market Analyst, where they metically analysed operations to drive and formulate strategic direction of the gaming division, designed and planned retail distribution strategy, and designed product and game strategy. In 1999, they joined RELX as a Senior Associate | Business Development Manager. Luke then held various roles at RELX, including Global Director Strategy | SVP Strategy, where they developed and executed digital strategies for a US$1b revenue entity, and CEO / MD RELX B2B Asia, where they launched and ran multiple JVs throughout Asia, more than doubled online revenue, and negotiated and executed a buy-out of a JV partner in a high profile $80M transaction in China. In 2011, they joined Sportsbet as Chief Operating Officer | Executive Director, and was a key part of the leadership team that increased EBIT from c. In 2018, they moved to Nura as Chief Commercial Officer, where they delivered the world’s best sounding headphones and collected the world’s largest database of objective hearing measurements. Currently, they are the Chief Operating Officer at Household Capital.

Luke Rattigan has a diverse educational background. Luke completed an Executive Leadership Program at INSEAD in 2014, specializing in Digital Marketing and Competitive Strategy. Luke also completed a Master of Economics through an exchange program at UC Santa Barbara. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Commerce (Hons) and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, specializing in Economics and Finance. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Section4 Certified Brand Strategist in 2021, a Graduate AICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2016, and a Certified Executive Coach (Level 2) from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL) in 2014.
