Alastair Akers

Alastair Akers has extensive experience in operations management and project leadership. Alastair currently serves as the Head of Operations at Housekeep since May 2023. Prior to this, they were the Operations Director at Engineius from January 2020 to March 2022, where they played a crucial role in the growth of the tech start-up. Alastair's responsibilities included improving efficiencies, expanding the operations department, managing budgets, and increasing gross profitability.

Before joining Engineius, Alastair worked as a Project Manager at Cannizaro from November 2014 to December 2019. Alastair successfully led various projects for blue-chip clients in strategy consultancy, continuous improvement programs, and interim leadership roles. Alastair worked closely with client MD/CEOs, developed project plans, organized training, and ensured smooth transitions after project completion. Additionally, Alastair held the role of Consultant at Cannizaro from September 2010 to November 2014.

In 2017, Alastair briefly worked as an Interim Terminal Manager for the largest Terminal at Associated British Ports, where they focused on improving performance and customer service levels. Overall, their work experience demonstrates a strong track record in operations management, project leadership, and strategic analysis.

Alastair Akers attended the University of Oxford from 2005 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Law. Alastair successfully completed their studies and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, qualifications associated with the Oxford system, known as MA (Oxon). During their time at the university, their primary focus of study revolved around the field of Law.
