Aapee Savolainen

Aapee Savolainen is a skilled game designer and QA professional with diverse experience in the gaming and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Junior Game Designer at Housemarque since April 2023, Aapee has previously held roles including QA Specialist at Zaibatsu Interactive and Production Supervisor at Istekki Oy. Aapee began as a Game Designer Trainee at Zaibatsu Interactive, specializing in game design, QA, and C# coding within Unity. In addition to gaming, Aapee has organized speedrunning events through FinnRuns, contributing significantly to the Finnish speedrunning community. Aapee's background includes roles as a youth worker in Jyväskylä and club director in Kuopio, along with managerial and technical positions in retail and IT support. Aapee holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from JAMK University of Applied Sciences and has pursued additional studies in Computer Science and Engineering.
