Andres Tovar is an experienced game programmer with a strong focus on gameplay programming, utilizing C++ and Unreal Engine. Currently serving as Lead Programmer at Housemarque since August 2022, Andres has previously held roles as Senior Game Programmer at Seriously Digital Entertainment, where contributions were made to the match-three game Project Best Fiends, and as Developer at King, implementing new features in Candy Crush Saga. Earlier positions include Lead Solution Engineer at Fyber, where technical solutions for partnership integrations were coordinated, and various game development roles at companies such as Playata, Gameloft, and Brainz Games. Andres holds a Master's degree in Video Game Design from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, a degree in Computer Science Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and completed a course on Programming Mobile Applications at the University of Maryland.
