Robbert Groenendijk

Robbert Groenendijk is a seasoned Technical VFX Artist currently working at Housemarque since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a VFX/Technical Artist at Cocoa from August 2021 to July 2023, specializing in Houdini FX, simulations, procedural setups, and tool development. Robbert has a background in filmmaking, having worked as a filmmaker and director at Wayne Parker Kent from May 2017 to August 2018, as well as serving as a Creative Technologist at Spektor Storytelling from January 2016 to April 2017. Initial career experiences include a position as a Video Editor at IMAGINE PEOPLE from 2014 to 2015. Academically, Robbert holds a Master of Arts in New Media Design & Production from Aalto University and a Bachelor of Design in Audiovisual Media with a focus on Documentary Directing from HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht), complemented by an international exchange program in Film and Television at Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
