Omid Rashid

Omid Rashid has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Omid began their career as a Computer and Home Theatre Senior Specialist at Best Buy in 2007, where they earned the Employee of the Month award in 2010. Omid then joined Rogers Communications as an Assistant Store Manager in 2011, where they were responsible for administrative procedures, recruitment, and staff development. Omid later joined the Government of Alberta in 2012 as an Industrial Approvals Engineer, where they led technical reviews and managed diverse projects related to environmental impact assessments. In 2016, they became a Sales Consultant at GLENTEL Inc., where they built relationships with small business customers and promoted sales growth. Omid then transitioned to Cloud Realty, Inc. in 2017 as a Sales Representative. In 2018, they joined Homelife Bayview Realty Inc, where they continued their role as a Sales Representative until 2022. Currently, Omid works at HouseSigma as a Sales Representative.

Omid Rashid obtained their Bachelor's of Engineering degree in Chemical Process Engineering from McMaster University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. After completing their undergraduate studies, no further education history is provided. However, Omid has obtained several certifications including Waste Classification & Disposal in Alberta from ESAA in February 2015, Standard First Aid in November 2015, and H2S Alive from Enform in January 2015. Additionally, Omid has the designation of Engineer in Training from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), although the exact month and year of obtaining this certification are unknown.
