Kristin Ginger

Kristin Ginger is an experienced communications and development professional currently serving as the Manager of Communications & Development at Housing Action Illinois since April 2016. Previously, Kristin held the position of Communications Manager at Women Employed from October 2013 to April 2016 and worked as a Communications Associate at Dane County Parent Council from November 2012 to September 2013. Additional experience includes roles such as Family Literacy Specialist, ESL Instructor, Staff Writer at Groupon, and Editorial Assistant at AGNI. Kristin has also contributed as an Adjunct Lecturer in Creative Writing and served as a New Arrivals Education Coordinator at MCC Refugee Services. From 2006 to 2008, Kristin was a Creative Writing Workshop Instructor and a Spanish Teaching Assistant at Carleton College. Kristin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Carleton College and an MFA in Creative Writing (fiction) from Boston University.
