Loren Hicks

Loren Hicks currently serves as an M/WBE Procurement Compliance Specialist at the Housing Authority of Baltimore City, focusing on the equitable award of contracts to minority and women-owned businesses. Prior experience includes coordinating the temporary relocation of nearly four hundred homes for a public housing revitalization project at Interstate Realty Management Co. Inc and providing various roles in the hospitality industry, including bartender and server positions at Cafe D'Alsace and Ristorante Settepani. Loren also has a background in media, having worked as an Assistant Editor for Okay Africa and as an Executive Assistant for choreographer Otis Sallid during the production of the film Black Nativity. Earlier roles include a sound assistant position at ITV and outreach work at Covenant House, aiding at-risk youth. Loren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Hunter College.
