Duane Leonard has extensive experience in housing administration, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at the Housing Authority of Snohomish County (HASCO) since October 2016, after holding the position of Associate Executive Director since April 1995. HASCO is responsible for managing federal housing programs and overseeing over 3,200 Section 8 Vouchers and more than 2,100 multifamily housing units in Snohomish County. Prior to joining HASCO, Duane Leonard worked at the Washington State Auditor's Office from August 1993 to March 1995 and served as Assistant Director at the Tacoma Employees Retirement System from November 1988 to July 1993. Duane Leonard earned a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Washington State University between 1979 and 1982.
