Pamela Townsend

Pamela Townsend, MPA, currently serves as the Communication Manager at the Housing Authority of Snohomish County (HASCO) since February 2021. Previously, Townsend held the position of Public Affairs Coordinator at the Louisiana Housing Corporation from July 2018 to February 2021, and worked as the Administrative Coordinator at the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, contributing to a federal grant program for Louisiana farmers affected by flooding in 2016. Townsend's early career includes roles as a Marketing Intern at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and RUSSO Branding Agency, and as a Community Assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where significant contributions to community development and student engagement were made. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Southern University and A&M College and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
