Alejandra Morales-Garcia is an experienced professional with a background in education, research, and social services. Currently serving as an FSS Coordinator and previously as an Eligibility Specialist II at the Housing Authority of the City of Austin since October 2020, Alejandra has contributed to various organizations including the Boy Scouts of America as an Education Paraprofessional, where responsibilities included teaching bilingual scouting curriculum and supporting academic tutoring. A research intern at the Edward A Clark Center for Australian & New Zealand Studies, Alejandra focused on human rights research, while earlier roles as an After School Counselor and Student Mentor involved tutoring and mentoring students from K-12. Alejandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
