Kenneth Bodden is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications, marketing, and public relations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Strategic Communications at the Housing Authority of the City of Austin since March 2025, Kenneth previously held the position of Director of Marketing and Communications at LifeWorks Austin and managed public relations and communications at the Housing Authority. Kenneth's background includes roles as a Digital Media Manager for the Railroad Commission of Texas and a Senior Information Specialist at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, where responsibilities included producing multimedia content and managing marketing campaigns. Early in Kenneth's career, significant achievements included producing promotional content at Spectrum and KVUE Media Group, where work received an Emmy nomination, and leading creative teams at Disney ABC Television Group for national campaign productions. Housing Authority of the City of Austin

As a High Performing Housing Authority that assists more than 18,000 Austinites, the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) owns and operates nearly 1,900 units of conventional public housing in 18 developments throughout Austin. Development sites range from high-rise apartments on Lady Bird Lake to small duplexes in residential neighborhoods. HACA also manages the Housing Choice Voucher/Section 8 Program that provides rental vouchers for more than 5,000 units of housing in Austin's private rental market.
