Anneliese Gryta is the current Deputy Executive Director of Housing Assistance Programs at Housing Authority of the County of King. Anneliese has over 8 years of experience in the field of housing and community development. Prior to their current position, they served as the Chief of Staff at Lucas Metropolitan Housing, where they were responsible for organizational excellence and transforming vision into reality. Anneliese also served as an instructor at The University of Toledo's Jesup Scott Honors College, teaching the HON 3010 Community Engagement course. In this role, they helped students sharpen their public speaking, visual literacy and leadership skills while learning the art and science of community change. Gryta has also held positions as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives & Grantmaking at Toledo Community Foundation and Manager at Economic and Community Development Institute.

Anneliese Gryta has a JD from the University of Akron School of Law, a Certificate of Completion from Harvard Kennedy School's Senior Executives in State & Local Government program, and a BA in Art Anneliese'story and Creative Studies from the State University of New York College at Buffalo.
