Housing Families
Virginia Wyatt is currently a Clinical Social Work Intern at Housing Families, where responsibilities include co-facilitating therapeutic groups for children and teens, designing curriculum for adults in shelters, and providing therapeutic interactions under the supervision of an LICSW. Previous experience includes roles in hospitality as a server and bartender with various establishments and as a Table Captain at The Inn at Little Washington, where skills in service standards and training junior staff were developed. Virginia also has experience as a Behavioral Health Technician at The Behavior Doc, providing ABA therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and as a youth tutor with Virtual Learning Partners, assisting at-risk students. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from William & Mary.

Housing Families
Housing Families Inc. was founded in 1986 by community members concerned about the growing crisis of homelessness among families in the cities of Everett, Malden, and Medford. Currently Housing Families primarily serves the cities of Malden, Medford, Everett, Chelsea, and Revere. 99% of families served reside in Greater Boston and the North Shore. Since 1986, the organization has grown into one of the largest operators of affordable housing for homeless and very low-income families in Massachusetts. Over 5,000 families have been helped since we first opened our doors. At Housing Families, we are working to achieve housing equity and well-being for all. As a nonprofit organization, we partner with communities, families, and individuals to ensure housing stability by offering personalized services including temporary and permanent housing, food assistance, individual counseling and group therapy, legal assistance, and youth programs. Housing Families is the only non-profit in Greater Boston to provide these holistic services under one umbrella.
