David G. Opiokello

Mr. Opiokello has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Housing Finance Bank since November 2016. He has served on the Board of the Bank for 7 years and 10 months as a Non-Executive Director. He previously held the position of Ag. Deputy Governor, Bank of Uganda, where he worked for 28 years prior to his retirement. He has vast knowledge of the Banking industry and is a professionally Certified Accountant. He is a founding member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) of the United Kingdom. He also serves as a Director on Boards of other Organisations.
