Carrie Bankes is an experienced communication and design professional with a diverse background in graphic design, visual communication, and editorial coordination. Currently serving as Communications Coordinator at Housing Forward since July 2018, Carrie has previously held significant roles, including Principal and Graphic Designer at 529design, where expertise was applied to a variety of clients, such as Bridgemark Healthcare and Crain’s Chicago Business. Other positions include Calendar Editor at Wednesday Journal, Inc., Advertising Coordinator for The Wednesday Journal, Researcher at MEM & Associates, and various design roles at The Pampered Chef, Andersen Consulting, and the Chicago Sun-Times. Carrie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Journalism from Drake University and furthered education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
