Chanie I., MBA, is a seasoned professional in strategic engagement, communications, and marketing within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Strategic Engagement Manager at Housing Opportunities Unlimited since 2022, Chanie I. leads digital and print communications, public relations, branding, and marketing efforts to enhance outreach and relationships with residents and partners. Previously, Chanie I. founded LifeByZen Program Communications and Marketing Consulting in 2010 and held the role of Communications Manager at Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation from 2018 to 2022, where responsibilities included managing media strategies and campaigns. Additional experience includes freelance writing for The Dorchester Reporter and The Jewish Advocate, and leading youth programs at the YMCA of Greater Boston. Chanie I. holds an MBA from Springfield College and extensive training in nonprofit management and social impact.
