Simon Thompson

Simon Thompson is currently the Director of Development at the Housing Plus Group, where they focus on building new homes and enhancing communities in the Staffordshire, Telford and Wrekin, and Shropshire regions. Previously, Simon held various leadership roles, including Assistant Director at Stoke-on-Trent City Council, where they managed private sector housing and development initiatives, and Director of Development at The Wrekin Housing Group, overseeing the creation of affordable homes. Simon's earlier experience includes positions as Head of Development and Director of Commercial Services at Stafford and Rural Homes, as well as Business Development Manager at Seddon Construction. They earned a BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying from the University of Wolverhampton.
