Jeff Newton

Jeff Newton is a seasoned basketball coach currently serving as an Assistant Coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jeff held multiple coaching and development positions, including Assistant Coach/Quality Control for the Iowa Wolves from September 2021 to June 2023, and Offensive Associate/Player Development Coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves from July 2019 to August 2021. Jeff's career began with roles such as Assistant Video Coordinator and Personnel Scout with the Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets, and included basketball operations internships with the Charlotte Hornets. Jeff graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014.
