Sohail Haq FCA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sohail started their career as a Trainee Accountant at Greenhill Pate in 1987 and later worked as a Semi Senior Auditor at Crowe Clark Whitehill. Sohail then joined KPMG UK as a Supervising Senior before moving on to various companies as an Accountant. In 1993, they joined Bromford Group, where they held various positions, including Financial Accountant, Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Business Planning Manager, and Finance Business Partner Reporting and Strategy. Their most recent role at Bromford Group was as the Financial Controller, where they led the Group Financial Reporting team and played a key role in the organization's growth and transformation. Currently, they work at Housing Plus Group as the Director of Financial Reporting.

Sohail Haq FCA completed their education from The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Accounting and Finance. Sohail then pursued further education at ICAEW, where they earned the designation of Chartered Accountant.
