Denise Wong

Denise Wong currently serves as the Staff Development Director at the Housing Rights Committee of San Francisco, where responsibilities include managing the onboarding process for new hires and enhancing staff knowledge through partnerships with local organizations. Prior to this role, Denise was the Senior Lead Tenant Organizer at Filipino Advocates for Justice, leading successful campaigns for tenant rights in Alameda, CA. Previous positions included Youth Outreach Coordinator at Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach, where Denise directed youth leadership programs, and various roles focused on community organizing and outreach, including key contributions at Global Zero and the Bay Area DACA Collaborative. Denise holds a B.A. in Asian American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, along with additional educational experiences at Meiji Gakuin University and Hunter College High School.
