Bryan K. Finnie

Bryan K. Finnie has extensive experience in the field of community and economic development. Bryan K. has held various roles in both the public and private sectors, with a focus on affordable housing and real estate development.

Bryan K.'smost recent position was at Housing Trust Group, LLC, where they served as the Vice President of Development. In this role, Bryan was responsible for identifying and developing affordable housing projects throughout Florida. Bryan K. oversaw all aspects of the real estate development process, from pre-development to construction completion. Additionally, they worked closely with local governments, housing authorities, and community redevelopment agencies to qualify affordable housing projects.

Prior to their role at Housing Trust Group, Bryan worked as a Project Development Manager at Related Urban, where they identified affordable housing investment opportunities throughout Florida. Bryan K. served as the President/CEO of Miami-Dade Empowerment Trust, Inc., where they stimulated community and economic development in distressed communities. Bryan K. also served as the Managing Director/CEO of the Camden Empowerment Zone Corporation, managing a federally approved program to stimulate affordable housing and commercial development.

Additionally, Bryan has experience in lending and program management. Bryan K. served as the Director of Community and Small Business Lending at the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and as the Director of Program Management at the New Jersey Urban Development Corporation.

Bryan K. Finnie holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, which they earned from Portland State University between 1979 and 1981. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science at Tufts University from 1975 to 1979. Though the specific dates are unknown, Bryan also attended Canterbury School in New Milford, CT at some point in their education.
