Iris Fernandes

Iris Fernandes has a diverse range of work experience. Iris started their career as a Business Program Manager and Marketing Project Manager at Microsoft, where they organized and assisted with marketing projects in the Public Education Sector. Iris then moved on to sales roles at HealthCity, first as a Sales Consultant, where they focused on business development and customer service, and later as a Sales Representative, where they also managed sales systems and processes. Iris concluded their time at HealthCity as a Sales Coordinator, overseeing the sales process and administrative tasks. Most recently, Iris has been working at HousingAnywhere as a Recruitment Intern, where they implemented the overall recruiting strategy and found candidates for various departments. Iris then took on the role of Junior Recruiter, coordinating international recruitment processes and building relationships with European universities. Iris subsequently became a Campus Recruiter, with a focus on campus recruitment and working with hiring managers. Currently, they serve as a Corporate Recruiter at HousingAnywhere, where they have transitioned to a 50/50 split between campus recruitment and full-time positions for the commercial departments. Overall, Iris Fernandes has gained valuable experience in recruitment, sales, and project management throughout their career.

Iris Fernandes completed their education at various institutions. Iris attended Kaj Munk College from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained their HAVO degree with a specialization in Economics. In 2017, they enrolled in the Amsterdam School of International Business to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business and Management. Iris successfully completed their degree in 2021. Additionally, in 2018, Iris obtained a certification called Propedeuse in Business Administration from the Amsterdam School of International Business. In 2020, they participated in an exchange program at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool as part of their BBA degree.
