Assistant Director – Airport Operations Centers (aoc) & Emergency Preparedness at Houston Airport System

Randy "Chip" Dale, C.M., currently serves as the Assistant Director of Airport Operations Centers and Emergency Preparedness for the Houston Airport System since April 2020. In this role, Randy oversees multi-agency coordination and training to enhance operational effectiveness during daily activities and emergencies. Prior to this, Randy held various positions including Airside Operations Manager and Manager of Emergency Services at Bush Intercontinental Airport from June 2004 to April 2020, where responsibilities included project coordination and safety management. Randy's earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Airport Manager at West Houston Airport from February 1999 to June 2004, along with other roles focused on building services and airfield operations. Randy holds a degree in Aviation Management from San Jacinto College, obtained between 1991 and 1996, and graduated from Aldine Sr. High in 1982.
