Abraham Caballero is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in grant development and community resource management. Currently serving as a Grant Development Specialist at the Houston Area Women's Center since December 2021, Abraham previously held roles including Community Sponsorship Program Manager at The Alliance, where responsibilities included leading program implementation and liaising with donors. With a background as Grants Coordinator at the Houston Food Bank and a Quality Assurance/Grant Compliance Specialist at The Alliance, Abraham has demonstrated expertise in fundraising and program compliance. Additionally, Abraham gained valuable experience as a Community Resource VISTA with AmeriCorps. Houston Area Women’s Center support survivors of domestic and sexual violence. They provide shelter, support, community education, training, hotlines, crisis intervention, counseling and advocacy, children's court, and hospital accompaniment services. They address inquiries through phone calls and emails.
