Amy Kilgore

Aimee Kilgore is a dedicated teaching artist currently contracted as an Adapted Dance Teaching Artist with MD Anderson Cancer Center, providing bedside adapted dance sessions to patients in the Pediatric Oncology unit. Aimee also teaches ballet and contemporary dance at Coomer Ballet Conservatory and serves as an Adapted Dance Program Teacher with Houston Ballet, collaborating with the Down Syndrome Association of Houston to offer specialized dance education courses. Previous experience includes roles as an Insurance Processing Specialist and Front Desk Receptionist at Lumina Optometry, where Aimee managed patient communication and appointment scheduling, as well as serving as Head of Retail Sales at YogaWorks, Inc., focusing on merchandising and sales optimization. Aimee is pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy at Lesley University, building on a foundation in Dance and Psychology from Dominican University of California.
