Leila Cartier

Leila Cartier is currently the Executive Director at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, leading and advancing education about craft. Prior to this, Leila served as the Executive Director at CraftNOW Philadelphia, Studio Artist at 1241 Carpenter Studios, Curator at William King Museum of Art, and Professor of Art History and Drawing at Virginia Highlands Community College. Leila's diverse background includes experience in accounting and billing at PennStuart. Leila holds a Master of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Moore College of Art and Design.
