Doug Hohertz is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in investment management and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Houston Community College Foundation since October 2022, Hohertz previously held the position of Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Salient Partners from May 2019 to March 2021. With a significant tenure at The Mitchell Group from March 1997 to April 2019, Hohertz acted as Chief Investment Officer, leading the investment team in publicly traded energy equities for institutional clients. Additional board experience includes PetroCloud, where Hohertz contributed from November 2012 to December 2018. Early career experience includes a managerial role in Finance and Accounting at Western Geophysical from September 1988 to March 1997. Hohertz holds a Masters of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business, along with executive education from Harvard Business School.
