Lucia Bates

Lucia Bates has significant work experience in the advertising industry. Lucia began their career in 1980 as a Customer Service Representative at Verizon Wireless, then known as GTE, and held this role until 1990. In 1997, they joined the Houston Chronicle as a Recruitment Advertising Sales Manager, a position they held for over a decade until 2008. In the same year, Lucia joined Houston Community Newspapers as a Regional Classified Advertising Director, where they are currently employed.

Lucia Bates completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake between 1995 and 1997. Lucia further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business from the University of Phoenix, between 2007 and 2008.
