David Neal

David Neal is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at HEQ Deepwater, LLC since April 2021, David has also been a Reservoir Engineer at Houston Energy L.P. since August 2016. Prior to these roles, David worked as a Reservoir Engineer and Production Engineer at Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas from July 2013 to July 2016, where responsibilities included both deepwater Gulf of Mexico and Eagle Ford operations. David's early career featured multiple summer internship positions at various companies, including LLOG Exploration Company, Wagner Oil Company, Walter Oil and Gas, and Plains Exploration and Production. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University.
