Zachary Wright

Zachary Wright is a Senior Exploration Geologist at Houston Energy L.P., where responsibilities include prospect generation, maturation, and sales as part of the deepwater Gulf of Mexico geology team. Key skills involve regional basin mapping, seismic attribute analysis, and hydrocarbon migration studies. Previously, Zachary served as a Teaching Assistant at Louisiana State University, instructing undergraduate students in geology fundamentals and developing lesson plans while also tutoring student athletes in physical and historical geology. Zachary holds a Master's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from Vanderbilt University. Additional experience includes fieldwork in Western Ireland and participation in a Noble Energy Short Course focused on the workflow from field discovery to development.
