Benjamin Hengel

Benjamin Hengel is an Environmental Scientist at Houston Engineering, Inc., where they have held multiple roles from Scientist II to Scientist IV since 2022. Earlier, Benjamin served as an Analyst 1 at Merjent in 2019 and contributed to research as a Research Assistantship at North Dakota State University from 2017 to 2018, focusing on wetland inventory and mapping. They were also involved as the North Central Chapter Student Representative for the Society of Wetland Scientists from 2018 to 2019 and completed a Fisheries Internship with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources in 2016. Benjamin holds both a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources/Conservation and a Master of Natural Resources Management from North Dakota State University.
