Nitsa Dereskos

Nitsa Dereskos is a Water Resources Engineer at Houston Engineering, Inc. since September 2021, bringing expertise from previous roles such as Engineering Technician III - Surface Water and Sewer with the City of Minneapolis from June 2019 to October 2021, and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities from November 2018 to April 2019. Nitsa also gained experience as a Public Works Engineering Intern - Surface Water and Sewer with the City of Minneapolis from May 2018 to October 2018, and as Lead Aquatic Invasives Species Educator and Boat Inspector with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board from May 2017 to December 2017. Additional experience includes a Seasonal Attendant position at Three Rivers Park District in summer 2017. Nitsa holds a degree in Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering with a focus on Environmental and Ecological Engineering from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2019.
