Sydney Dao

Sydney Dao has a diverse work experience starting in 1997 as an Account Executive at Randall Rutledge Public Relations. Sydney then served as a Sales Representative at Michael Atchison & Associates from 1997 to 2003. From 2003 to 2015, they were the Public Relations and Marketing Director at DAO Chloe DAO, where they managed public appearances, fashion shows, photoshoots, and social media accounts, while also overseeing seasonal marketing campaigns, events, and sales promotions. In 2015, Sydney became the Founder of Squid Inc., a position they held until 2022. Currently, they are the Director of Retail at Houston First Corporation, and starting in September 2022, they will take on the role of Director of Brand Integration at the same company.

Sydney Dao attended the University of Houston from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Literature. Sydney also completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Literature, with a focus on English Language and Literature/Letters during the same time period.
